My new order of lab rubies are in, and they are just a little bigger than the ones in the photos (photos show a 6x9mm stone).
A gorgeous 10mm bright red lab ruby briolette is wire-wrapped to a sparkly oval link chain. All metal used is either sterling silver or 14k Gold-Filled (or as selected in the drop-down menu!). I love this minimal style, it can go from casual to elegant, and it lets the gemstone be THE focus!
Ruby is the July birthstone; most natural rubies you can find have a lot of inclusions, and clear natural rubies with are in fact more rare (and more expensive) than diamonds - making a lab-created stone a wonderful affordable alternative! Note that this is a real ruby (not simulated), but made in a lab rather than earth-mined.
Options:
• Coordinating earrings are available but not listed yet - contact me if you would like to purchase them!
• Default length is about 16", but any length up to 20" is available at no charge - just request it in the "notes to seller" section at checkout.
• I do have a few longer briolettes available (about twice as long, and just a tad wider) - contact me for a quote if you would like one of them!
• Sterling silver will oxidize; Rhodium-plated sterling is not as bright of a white as new sterling, but will not change color.
