This pendant is sculpted out of a durable clay setting and inlaid with a River stone, three Ruby in Zoisite pebbles and a Mother of Pear disc. The Goddess is painted using UV Black Light night glow paints, alcohol paints and non-toxic water based pigments. She hangs on a recycled Silk Saree necklace with a hammered silver finished bar and toggle clasp. A representation of the joyous day a woman comes of age and embraces the Dark Moon. A small amount of water or rain is fine but don’t submerge it in water or go swimming in it. Water will, over time, make the clay brittle and loosen the inlaid natural materials. Also, impact by dropping it may crack or damage the clay and shells. Small dislocations can be glued back. The clay is strong but it still needs to be cared for.
