Rare rhodochrosite stalactite, ruby, sapphire, Ethiopian opal, biwa freshwater pearl, labradorite, fine silver and sterling silver necklace

I took me months to find the right gemstones for this one-of-a-kind necklace.
The end result is quite stunning and would look fabulous with a simple cocktail dress or a designer gown with a low neck.
The rare, pink rhodochrosite stalactite was my starting point and inspiration. It is large, extremely beautiful and highly polished, front and back.
It is bedecked with an array of pretty stones in shade of pink: watermelon tourmaline, faceted garnet beads and briolettes, ethiopian opal beads with lots of red fire (which I just can't seem to capture on camera), a small stick of vintage angel skin coral and a faceted ruby bead.
The centrepiece is suspended from a dual string of gemstones, the inner strand being a combination of wire-wrapped opals, faceted labradorite and faceted raw rubies. The colour of the rubies is completely natural - a rather lovely muted shade of red.
The longer strand is composed of more faceted raw rubies, two gorgeously sparkly faceted sapphires in muted shades of pinky red and grey, fiery faceted labradorite beads and briolettes, rose quartz, ethiopian opals, champagne coloured freshwater biwa pearls and white freshwater pearls.
The necklace measures 32cm from the sterling silver clasp to the bottom of the focal stone and the inner string measures 22cm from the clasp to the bottom of the faceted ruby.

Please note that I accept paypal payments only.

For your peace of mind (and mine!), I will send your item securely packaged with a tracking number and it will need to be signed for on arrival.
