I'm thrilled to offer these custom-made settings, which were made for me by a family-owned jewelry company in Israel. These heavy, cast brass settings are silver-plated and amazing quality, with elaborate crown prongs.
I saved these special settings for special rhinestones, and these vintage Swarovski Ruby Glass Gems really do them justice. These stones are a rich and bright red with elaborate faceting for the most amazing sparkle. They look so striking against the gold plated settings. My camera really struggles with red, and it couldn't capture the depth and shine of these stones. I can assure you that you WILL NOT be disappointed!
This necklace is 16 inches long with a 2' inch extender chain for flexible sizing. Georgian era collet necklaces were meant to be worn at the base of the neck, but these settings allow for them to be worn a bit longer without fear of the stones flipping over. If you prefer your necklaces a bit longer (or want to use them for layering), this is an excellent style for you. This necklace closes with a silver-plated swivel lobster clasp.
These are timeless. Collet necklaces have been prized from the Georgian era until today, made especially famous by modern style icon Anna Wintour. They are perfect for historical recreations or everyday wear. They also layer beautifully and would look gorgeous with many other necklaces available in my shop.
These are part of my new Josephine Collection, named for Napoleon's famous and fabulous wife. This collection is made of items that are specially chosen for their accuracy, quality, and beauty.
