Argentium Anti Tarnish Sterling Silver is 930 pure as opposed to Sterling Silver which is 925 pure. Sterling Silver is alloyed with copper and other metals to make it stronger but that also accounts for why it tarnishes so easily. By using Germanium as an alloy the Sterling Silver becomes tarnish resistant and saves hours trying to polish your precious jewelry and that is why it is more expensive as well.
