Leather Necklace with Garnet Hessonite, Pearl and Antiqued Brass

The color of these stones is filled with glimmer, fire and spice.  The reds, oranges and almost apricot colors evoke images of fall and winter, and roaring fires.  I used five, faceted briolettes of Hessonite Garnet- staggering the drop of each with a delicate Figaro chain of antiqued brass, and lastly, included one fresh water pearl.  To compliment the warm tones of this gemstone, I used an Antiqued Brass wire for wrapping and suspended the group from a hammered brass ring.  The cord is a laced leather cord in brown - very soft and supple.  To finish off this gorgeous piece, I used brass, adjustable end caps that slide along the length of cord to accommodate any length.
