This is a beautiful Steampunk Neo Victorian Gold plated (vermeil) GLEAMING, delicate open lace-y style, filigree designed pendant featuring a vintage oval BULOVA petite 17 ruby jeweled watch mechanism (non-working).
One of my favorite styles because of the TRI PLATE setting of the rubies on the GLEAMING watch plates, yet all the additional gears, etc in a perfect petite movement.
Exquisitely designed, steel wheels and brass gears, rubies set within gold bezels and all set within high chrome watch plates. It is soldered into a scalloped bezel and hangs elegantly. Circa 1940's vintage components. Just Gorgeous!
This piece is refined and elegant enough to be worn with formal wear and yet so beautiful you will want to wear it every day. Easy care - treat it as you would good jewelry; (keep mechanism from rusting - avoid water) wipe clean and store in your jewelry box or a pouch - Lovely !

From the bail it measures from bail 1 1/2" x 3/4" with dual filigree wrapped glides that allows the chain to slink back and forth.
