The cross measures 3” long by 2 1/4” inches wide. It is adorned with five large 8mm deep red garnet Swarovksi crystals. The vivid color of these crystals can appear dark red in certain light, and shimmer translucent red in bright light.

I love to design with Swarovski crystal beads. They have the highest lead content of any bead that can be called crystal. The design of the cuts is also important, just as in cutting gemstones. At Swarovski, the angles of the facets are set up to maximize refraction and reflection of light, thus making their products as brilliant as possible.
The crystals are surrounded by sterling silver highlight beads and four silver 5mm flowers. In the middle is a small cross holding a little ruby crystal and at the tips of the cross are silver spikes securing the design.
The pendant hangs on a 10 1/2’ long black round leather cord, supple and flexible for comfort yet delicate to accent the piece. The cord is secured at the back with two more flowers and a silver lobster clasp.
