A beautiful recycled fine silver star flower design pendant is set with a 3mm ruby. I created this pendant from a mold I made of a lovely 1950's vintage button. This hand crafted pendant is 2.9 grams of pure (.999) silver and is 16mm around, 2mm thick.
The pendant has been given an antique patina, and them buffed to a high shine to show the detail.
Strung on a fabulous 16 inch sterling silver snake chain with a SS jump ring.
The back is quality stamped and signed by me.
A note on precious metal clay:
ArtClay silver is a recycled product that consists of fine silver particles suspended in an organic binder. The clay can be worked like other forms of clay, sculpted to almost any shape you desire. The product is then fired at an extremely high temperature, either by kiln or torch. The binder burns away resulting in a pure silver (.999) piece.
