Thank you for looking at this one of a kind handmade necklace created by repurposing vintage silverplate and creating a gorgeous genuine gemstone pendant.
The pendant has a floral repousse motif.
I added a very cool lightweight gun metal aluminum chain, which is not too cumbersome to wear. 32" long - no clasp- just goes over your head. Super fun!
This is total one of a kind necklace, I dont copy from anyone nor do I repeat myself.

The chain is 32" long , so its a fabulous romantic long look!

Genuine Ruby Corundum cylinder beads 3-4mm (ETB00204)

A ruby is a pink to blood-red colored gemstone, a variety of the mineral corundum (aluminium oxide). The red color is caused mainly by the presence of the element chromium. Its name comes from ruber, Latin for red. Other varieties of gem-quality corundum are called sapphires. The ruby is considered one of the four precious stones, together with the sapphire, the emerald, and the diamond.

Prices of rubies are primarily determined by color. The brightest and most valuable "red" called pigeon blood-red, commands a large premium over other rubies of similar quality. After color follows clarity: similar to diamonds, a clear stone will command a premium, but a ruby without any needle-like rutile inclusions may indicate that the stone has been treated. Cut and carat (weight) are also an important factor in determining the price. [source: wikipedia]

You will receive the same quality as you see in my pictures, I always send from the same batch. I will randomly select one strand. As the colour & size can vary slightly, please do not request for one particular strand. You can buy the whole batch to ensure you will get the best ones.

Ruby Necklace with a Genuine Faceted Raspberry Red Ruby, Adjustable Length Gold Chain

A rich, raspberry red, genuine ruby, heart briolette is the centerpiece of this stunning necklace. The 18mm x18mm (11/16" x 11/16") gem is beautifully faceted on both sides, it is capped with 18K gold, and it sparkles. The pendant is suspended from a 14K gold filled ring, and it dangles 24mm (1") from a 14K gold filled chain that fastens securely with a 14K gold filled lobster claw clasp.

The necklace is adjustable from 16 1/2" to 18". The 14K gold filled extension chain is finished with a matching 14K gold filled, wire-wrapped, faceted, ruby dangle.

This ruby and gold necklace is so beautiful! I can make several of these necklaces. The genuine gemstones may vary slightly, but they are all the same shape and design. They are also very close in size. I hand picked each ruby, and they are all beautiful.
